POS0993 RADIOLOGICAL CERVICAL INVOLVMENT IN ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS

چکیده
Background Cervical involvement in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is particularly disabling and has been poorly studied yet. Actual radiologic scoring design to assess disease progression does not provide a comprehensive picture of the cervical AS. [1] Association with clinical features such as psoriasis are discussed. Objectives We aimed radiographic AS clinico-biological parameters associated this specific location. Methods Cross-sectional study based on analysis subgroup patients included French BambooSpine cohort, originally designed genetic risk factors structural severity. The was Parisian hospitals have access images entire spine Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) shared by all University Hospitals Paris. A double reading performed rheumatologist/radiologist pair until consensus reached, identify syndesmophytes, zygapophyseal joint (ZJ) posterior ligament structures (PLS) at each level, syndesmophytes thoracic region, ZJ PLS lumbar region. Results Of 113 assessed patients, 101 were men, mean age 53 years (+/- 11 years) 27 13 duration (Table 1). those whose HLA B27 status known, 85% (70/82) carriers. Among 86 radiological involvement, 83% had 86% 24% involvement. Radiological changes in the cervical spine in ankylosing spondylitis.
Ankylosing spondylitis is not limited to the sacro-iliac joints and the lumbar and dorsal spine, but may also affect the cervical spine. Forestier, Jacqueline, and Rotes-Querol (1951) considered that the intervertebral joints were first affected, osteo-porosis being followed by narrowing and ankylosis, and later by the formation of syndesmophytes on the vertebral bodies. Romanus and Yden (1955)...

Background: Increased incidence of renal stone has been reported in ankylosing spondylitis (AS), but unlike some well-known renal involvements, they have not been fully studied. The aim of this study was to investigate the association of AS with urolithiasis and also the relation between urinary stone and severity markers. Methods: One hundred-sixty three AS patients were included in a cross-s...
متن کاملReparative radiological changes of hip joint after TNF inhibitors in ankylosing spondylitis
Background: Hip involvement in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a common extraspinal arthritic manifestation, which is associated to a worse functional outcome. Little data are available on the effectiveness of conservative treatment strategies. The TNF inhibitors have been proven effective on AS activity parameters. Their structural effect on hip disease however, little is studied. Case pres...

A 66-year-old man with a history of ankylosing spondylitis presented to the emergency department as a trauma activation after a fall backward onto his sacrum from the bottom rung of a ladder. He initially complained of neck pain. On physical examination, midline lower cervical spine tenderness to palpation was present, but careful neurologic examination revealed no deficits. A CT scan of the ce...
